State House Candidate Cyrus Dashtaki Announces Over $21K Raised
Over $10,000 raised in the 4th Quarter of 2009
Jefferson City - Cyrus Dashtaki, a candidate for the 113th State House District announced today that his campaign has raised over $21,000 since August 1. In the 4th Quarter of 2009, he raised over $10,000.
"In just five short months, the outpouring of support our campaign has generated is tremendous. I am proud to announce that over 200 donors have offered their financial support to our campaign efforts. Countless others have given their valuable time and energy, and have signed up to volunteer at www.cyrusdashtaki.com. Their support is a testament that fresh ideas, real advocacy and innovation are the currency needed to move Missouri forward," Dashtaki said.
Dashtaki added that, "for far too long hardworking Missouri families, state employees and real economic job growth in Mid-Missouri have taken a back seat in the Missouri legislature. The Capital City and the Capital County deserve better."
Dashtaki emphasized his gratitude for those that have stepped forward to help with his campaign: "This is your campaign. You are the voice of this campaign. Together, we will restore the voice of the common citizen to the legislature."
Cyrus Dashtaki currently serves as an attorney prosecuting deceptive and unfair trade practices and enforcing workers’ rights and public accommodation laws. Dashtaki, who was born and raised in Jefferson City, is a graduate of St. Peters Grade School, Helias High School, Lincoln University, and Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
