I would like to thank the Jefferson City Branch of the NAACP for honoring me with the Myrtle Smith Oden Young Adult Service Award. 

On October 3rd, 2009, the Jefferson City NAACP held an awards ceremony for members of the Jefferson City community who are committed to justice.  All of the honorees deserved the recognition they received, and I am both humbled and grateful to have been among them.
As someone who has spent my legal career ensuring that all persons are treated as equals under the law, I appreciate the work done thus far and the continued commitment to justice by all those involved.
